second thoughts

I must feel a ping of regret for not marrying Darcy. He comes with fancies and that I could easily be comfortable with after time. But knowing my Aunt and Uncle would be ashamed by my decision, I know there is not regret to my actions. But hearing all these stories from his childhood and well mannered behaviour towards life and people makes me sadden. I denied the one true, outstanding man i know.

    I do hope you don't believe that I would give up so easily! Love does not go away so quickly, and mine is no exception. After all the events concerning Lydia, it may be a while before I try again. But, rest assured, I will ask again, so be ready.
